Adams County hired MW GOLDEN CONSTRUCTORS to renovate the Adams County Clerk and Recorder, Motor Vehicle, Elections, and satellite offices for the Assessor and Treasurer and Tri-County Health in the South Platte Crossing building. There is also a new breakroom and storage on the basement level. The renovations took place in the basement, first floor and second floor and encompass a total area of 36,000 square-feet.
Originally constructed in 1875, the building has seen many uses and has been updated several times, necessitating some extensive interior demolition down to its original framing. Saving as much of the original furnishings and features was top priority. The ground floor of the structure is now 2200 square feet of commercial space for a marketing consulting firm, containing offices, and meeting spaces. Restrooms were expanded and sustainable features were added throughout.
The project consisted of utilizing existing warehouse space and transforming some of the space to offices and restrooms. MWGC helped to optimize Master Magnetics’ warehouse space by helping to condense down and increase efficiency on available storage space, freeing up valuable space. We then maximized their office work space in their existing warehouse. We expertly divided the space and assisted the client in creating a functional layout for their growing business needs.
MWGC renovated the Frisco Police Department to add a new kitchen, bunk room, lockers and an expanded squad room. All work was done while the police department remained occupied.
MWGC was hired to complete a remodel of the 8th & 9th floors of the Wellington Webb Municipal building. Complex phasing was required as the building remained operational during the work day. MWGC worked between the hours of 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM and daytime hours on the weekends. Separation barriers were erected to protect the employee areas from dust and other particles. Services performed were the buildout of 3 new offices on the 8th floor and 6 new offices on the 9th floor.
Located inside the Riverwalk Building in Castle Rock, MWGC is assisted the architecture firm Hollis+Miller in the creation of their new office. The office is an open concept design built to increase interaction between employees.
