Arvada, CO – MW GOLDEN CONSTRUCTORS (MWGC) recently concluded a series of projects on the grounds of Jefferson County School District’s West Woods Elementary School. MWGC re-graded areas adjacent to the building which were improperly sloping toward the structure, and replaced affected concrete pads and sidewalks. Other deteriorating sidewalks throughout the property grounds were replaced, and a section of sidewalk was added toward an adjacent park to divert pedestrian traffic from entering school grounds. The school’s parking lot was reconfigured and repaved, a concrete island was added, and new trees were planted. Drainage infrastructure around portable classrooms was also improved. Slaterpaull Architects was the design firm on the half million dollar project.
In addition to West Woods, MWGC also recently completed renovations to another Jefferson County property, Woodrow Wilson Academy. The company has also performed work at Jefferson County School District’s Wheat Ridge Middle School.
