MW GOLDEN CONSTRUCTORS recently completed work on the Auraria Higher Education Center’s Campus panic alarm system. The project called for the installation of a new centralized security system in virtually every building on campus—more than thirty structures. The new system allows each building to be armed or disarmed and doors to be locked or unlocked from one centralized location.
"I wanted to take a moment to let you know that your people have done a terrific job during this project,” AHEC’s Anthony McNeill told MWGC President Mike Golden in an email. “[MWGC Superintendent] Seth Sinnes was on top of this project better than most Generals we have had running projects here. [MWGC Project Manager] Mike Weber played a huge role in this project as well, he was able to provide answers to all questions that were posed to him, as well as making sure that the subs were fulfilling their obligations to the project.”
This is the latest of several projects MWGC has delivered to Denver’s Auraria Campus. MWGC completed a fire suppression system expansion and upgrade at AHEC in 2013. Other higher education projects delivered by MWGC include renovations to Arapahoe Community College’s Castle Rock campus and several projects for Colorado Mountain College’s Leadville and Dillon campuses.
