On April 16, 2011 Mike Golden was sworn in as a re-elected National Director of the American Institute of Constructors (AIC) at its annual forum in Cleveland, Ohio. Mike has served on the AIC Board of Directors since 2008 and served previously as a nationally elected Director of AIC from 1997-2000.
The American Institute of Constructors is a qualifying body that serves the individual in construction, the Constructor, who has achieved a recognized level of professional competence. Through its Construction Certification Commission, AIC certifies the professional constructor through its Level One (Associate Constructor) and its Level Two (Certified Professional Constructor) exams.
Over 15,000 individuals have sat for one of these two exams since 1996. AIC works hard to promote professionalism within the Construction Industry and holds ethics in the highest regard.
