MW GOLDEN CONSTRUCTORS announces new President, Executive Vice President

For the first time in its 34-year history, MW GOLDEN CONSTRUCTORS (MWGC) will have a new President. Jason Golden, formerly MWGC’s Executive Vice President, will assume the role of President. Jason has more than 22 years of industry experience, all with MWGC. Starting with the company, Jason served in the role as laborer and was soon promoted to the role of Superintendent. After spending 10 years in the field, he has spent the last 12 in the office in a multitude of positions such as Project Engineer, Project Manager, Estimator, and most recently Executive Vice President.

MWGC’s former President, Mike Golden has transitioned to the role of CEO. During his time as President, Mike lead the company through a sustained period of growth by focusing on a customer first approach.

“After nearly 45 years in the construction industry, post-college graduation, it is time for the next generation to take the reins at MW GOLDEN CONSTRUCTORS. Jason has certainly earned his leadership role at our company and we are confident that MWGC will soar to new heights. The basis of our founding since 1984 has been to do what is right for our clients, our subcontractors, our designers, our employees, and our industry.

Our company has had the opportunity to work with a number of quality public and private entities, designers, consultants, public officials, and employees over our career. We have been humbled and honored for the recognitions our company has earned through the efforts of our dedicated employees (past and present) that have adhered to our expectations and ideals. Back in 1984, we were fortunate to have clients that had faith in us to allow us with unlimited bonding to obtain construction work and to successfully complete it.”

Chris Honey has been with MWGC for 20 years and is transitioning from their Lead Superintendent/Vice President to Executive Vice President. In 2014 Chris was honored with the ASAC Superintendent of the year award. He will now lead field operations, focusing on developing and maintaining key client relationships. Chris will also be responsible for general supervision of MWGC’s Superintendents.

As one of the more well-respected construction companies in Colorado, MWGC is well positioned to take a leading role in Colorado’s growth.
