The Lustre Pearl has a classic western feel that includes a main ground level bar, and a smaller mezzanine bar on the upper level. Also included is a 1,000 square-foot patio that is connected to the main 3,300 square-foot usable space. Within the restaurant lies a small stage where live bands can perform. Bands from Texas and the Denver area will be making regular appearances.
MW GOLDEN CONSTRUCTORS renovated this 13,092 square-foot building originally built in 1926. When originally constructed in 1926, the location was previously known as Yates Theater. A bakery, sushi restaurant, and coffee shop join other local businesses as inhabitants of the newly renovated building.
MWGC assisted local brewery, 105 West Brewing Company with their goal of expanding their brewing operations. We rearranged their storefront spaces to shift the homebrew shop down, so they could move their brewing equipment into the old homebrew space. This movement allows for a bigger brewhouse and more seating space in the taproom. Thanks to this additional space, 105 West Brewing was able to add a canning line. You can now find these beers at select retailers in Douglas County.
Two Mile Brewery was a complete renovation of an old gas station in Leadville, CO. Due to the brewery previously being a gas station, MWGC needed to perform contaminated soil testing and remediation before work began. The 1,278 square-foot building had all of the pre-existing walls demolished and replaced, received new partitions for the dining area, and a new commercial kitchen.
The ground floor of the structure is now 2,200 square-feet of commercial space for a doughnut and coffee shop. Landline Doughnuts replaces about 1/3 of the flour in their recipe with fresh riced mashed potatoes. It gives them a unique texture and a longer shelf life than your average doughnut. A new kitchen was constructed in the back of the building and a new point of sale counter was also installed. The counter was repurposed from an old bowling alley bar top.
